With very clear directives provided by the authorities, Novo Cinemas has welcomed back movie lovers in the past few days with social distancing and enhanced cleanliness measures in place. During this phase the requirement is for 30% occupancy with very specific seating arrangements.
As customers arrive, they are carefully guided through the booking to film viewing process with the below guidelines:
- Temperature check for customers before entering the location of the cinema. Multiple Temperature check in a day for all the staff.
- Face mask and gloves are mandatory.
- Hand sanitizer provided at all suitable contact points.
- Recommend online ticket purchases.
- Social distancing of 2 meters clearly marked at the concession and in the theatre.
- Maximum of two people can sit together.
- Age limits followed as per the directive – no under 12 or over 60 years of age. Emirates ID will be requested.
- Disposable cutlery and packaging to be used in all areas of the cinema including 7-Start VIP experience.
- Frequent and high-volume sanitization consistently throughout the day. Only Dubai Municipality approved partners, equipment and materials used.
