The Dubai Student Card is a unified, multi-functional student ID that combines academic identification, ISIC – International Student Identity Card, and nol/RTA services in one card.
It provides access to university services, eligible RTA student fares and a wide range of student benefits in Dubai and internationally.
The Dubai Student Card serves as the official student identification card for participating academic institutions. Issuance and use are subject to the policies of each participating institution.
The card is available to students of participating academic institutions across Dubai, subject to the eligibility requirements of their institution and the relevant services.
Yes. The Dubai Student Card incorporates nol functionality, providing access to Dubai's public transport network and eligible student fares, subject to RTA eligibility requirements and policies.
Eligible students aged 5–23 enrolled at a school, college or university in the UAE can benefit from a 50% discount on eligible RTA public transport fares, subject to RTA eligibility requirements.
Students above 23 years of age are not eligible for the discounted student fare. However, they can continue to use their Dubai Student Card for applicable nol services and enjoy the ISIC benefits available in the UAE and worldwide.

Students have access to both a physical card and a digital student ID.
The physical card is issued by RTA and students will be notified when it is available for collection at their academic institution.
The digital ISIC ID and student benefits are available through the Alive app.
Activation instructions and access details will be provided to students through their registered university or academic institution email address.

No. The Dubai Student Card is personal and non-transferable. It is linked to your identity and student status and must only be used by the cardholder.
No. The Dubai Student Card is a student identification credential and does not replace government-issued identification documents such as an Emirates ID or passport.
Your Dubai Student Card is linked to your academic institution's student records. If your personal information changes, please contact your academic institution to update your records.
The Dubai Student Card and its student-specific services are linked to your active student status. When your student status expires, access to university and student-specific services may also expire.
ISIC provides the Dubai Student Card with an international student identity layer, allowing students to demonstrate their student status internationally and access a global network of student benefits.

The Dubai Student Card is issued to students through their participating academic institution.
The card issuance fee is AED 95 + VAT, and includes AED 20 of pre-loaded nol credit.
The pre-loaded credit can be used for nol-related transactions and public transport fares in Dubai.
If you lose your physical Dubai Student Card, please cancel the card through the nol Pay app as soon as possible to prevent unauthorised use.
You should also contact your academic institution’s Student Services department to report the loss and request a replacement card.
Please note: Any applicable replacement fee will be communicated by your academic institution.
You can cancel your Dubai Student Card and request a refund through the nol Pay app or the RTA website.
For nol-related transactions or remaining balances, refunds are subject to RTA’s applicable terms, conditions and refund procedures.
